MassTech is the only license holder and producer of AP MALDI ion source technology, and is the recognized leader in AP MALDI development and manufacturing. We are currently in our 3rd generation of AP MALDI technology – incorporating many of our own innovations such as PDF+ – and today’s AP MALDI ion sources have sensitivity as good as that of vacuum MALDI.
The MT Explorer 100 is MassTech’s first in-house developed mass spectrometer, and is capable of desktop laboratory performance in a small, field transportable package. It has an atmospheric pressure interface, allowing for use of any API ion source. Combined with our own 3rd generation AP MALDI ion source, customers can purchase a complete integrated unit capable of rapid, on-site biological or chemical identification.
The MT Explorer 50 is MassTech’s newest in-house developed mass spectrometer. It provides sensitivity and performance similar to that of the MT100 in a package half the size. It uses the same sources as the MT 100.
