2011 ASMS Complete

MassTech Awarded Phase II SBIRs

On 1 June 2011, MassTech was notified of award for two Phase 2 Small Business Innovation Research grants, totalling $1.35M. The projects (NASA Proposal A3.02-8812 and Navy (NAVAIR) N8335) deal with LIDAR analysis of wind and turbulence. This makes a total of four Phase 2 SBIR grants awarded to MassTech within the past two years.

SESI to Participate in Team Selected by NASA for European Space Agency ExoMars Mission

On 8 January 2007, a team led by the University of California at Santa Barbara was selected by NASA for delivery of the Mars Organic Molecule Analyzer (MOMA). Intended for the European Space Agency ExoMars mission in 2013, MOMA will analyze organic molecular signatures and the environment in which they exist. SESI’s contribution will be delivery of a specialized AP/MALDI mass spectrometry ion source and miniature tandem Mass Spectrometer. (NASA press release)
